Bushcraft Organics did not start as a business. It began as a way of life.
Living in the mountains of Himachal Pradesh changes how you think about health. Surrounded by pine forests, snow-fed streams, and wild herbs growing at every turn, I stopped looking toward pharmacies and started looking at what was already around me.
That search led me to stinging nettle. A wild herb I had walked past a thousand times, growing freely in the hills above Manali. I started foraging it for my own seasonal allergies. The more I learned about it - its quercetin content, its anti-inflammatory properties, its centuries of traditional use - the more I understood that this plant deserved far more credit than it was getting.
That curiosity became our first product. Stinging Nettle Herbal Tea, handpicked and packed in whole-leaf form to preserve everything the plant holds. I used it myself. I felt the difference. And I knew this was worth sharing.
What started as a personal health shift became a deeper conviction. That plants work, when you give them the right form. That traditional knowledge and modern phytochemistry are not opposites - they are the same understanding, separated by time. And that people deserve honest, grounded wellness products that do not overpromise or underdeliver.
Bushcraft Organics is built on that conviction. Every product we make starts with a question: what does this herb actually do, and what is the most effective way to experience it? The answer shapes everything - the extraction method, the carrier, the dose, the form.
We focus on three things, done carefully.
Herbal drops made through glycerin maceration - alcohol-free, full-spectrum, and significantly more concentrated than any brewed tea. Himalayan herbal teas packed in 100% plant-based PLA bags, with no microplastics and no compromise. And a commitment to small-batch production, by hand, with the support of the Manali community that has been part of this from the beginning.
We are a Himalayan-origin brand. Not every herb we use grows at altitude, but every decision we make is shaped by these mountains - by the respect for what grows here, and the responsibility that comes with it.
